Arabic Translation and Typesetting for the Jaguar XF
The Brief
We were approached buy one of Jaguar-Land Rover’s London design agencies asking if we could translate and typeset the sales brochures for the Jaguar XF XJ and X type as well as the sales brochure for the new Land Rover into Arabic and Chinese. The client asked for us to provide different samples of fonts so the could choose the most appropriate.
They also asked for us to provide a native speaker of Arabic to go to their London office for proofing purposes.
The Solution
Font samples were made and sent to them for approval, meanwhile the translation was started. One of our trusted Arabic translators was selected to go to their office for final QA. The documents were typeset in the required languages and PDF proofs were sent for approval. Any changes were implemented and final PDF was sent made to the client’s specifications. When the PDF was signed- off by the client we provided an “outlined” InDesign file for the client to keep.
