The Brief
Adelphi were asked to visit Amnesty international at their head office in London to discuss how we could help them when their own in-house typesetting were overloaded. We were asked to typeset only eastern European languages. The first job they gave us was Kurdish Sorani a right to left language using an Arabic script.
Since then we have typeset the following languages for Amnesty — Albanian, Amharic, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Bulgarian, Cambodian, Simplified Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Farsi, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish Sorani, Lithuanian, Malay, Mongolian, Nepali, Pashto, Polish, Romani, Romanian, Georgian, Russian, Serbian, Sinhala, Slovak, Slovenian, Somali, Swahili, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Urdu.
To date
We have worked with Amnesty International for over 4 years. Typesetting various printed materials in more than 50 languages. The projects we have carried out for them have ranged from 4 page covers to 100 page booklets.
All our typesetting is carried out in-house by our own typesetting & quality assurance team.
