Music video subtitling and localisation
Adelphi Studio has recently produced music video subtitling in Japanese and Spanish for Vah Halen. These were of live performances of the song ‘She’s the Woman’ and a number of interviews. Adelphi studio are also a full service translation agency, this means that we handle all aspects of the work in-house providing the transcription if required, the translation and the subtitling.
We will work with you to get the best from the lyrics, as you know sometime a bands lyrics can be difficult to interpret in English, so the translation has to reflect the feel and the meaning rather than being a literal translation.

We also provide transcription and translation services in any language, to provide time-coded scripts for translation. The length of many languages will expand when compared to original English and care must be taken in the translation to keep the true meaning of the English, while staying within the time frame allowed.
SRT translations and file creation
Adelphi produce SRT files in any language, including making transcriptions of the source video before they are translated to create SRT files for subtitling. Some clients want only the SRT file so that they can produce their own subtitles while others want us to provide the finished video for them.
In SRT subtitling translation, our audiovisual translator (srt file translator) would create translated subtitles in the target language directly from the source video. Our subtitle translator would then create SRT files that are used to produce burnt-on subtitles.
